When your child shows readiness to learn a new skill, our teachers give the appropriate lesson to turn their spark of curiosity into a blazing fire of learning awesomeness. Our curriculum is flexible, allowing students to move through it at the appropriate pace for their capabilities. It neither holds students back, nor leaves them behind, yet always provides the right amount of challenge.
AMPreschool Toddler Program
Our Toddler classrooms are available to children 17 months to 33 months old.
As a student nears 2.9 years old they will be eligible to “age up” into our Primary classroom so that their placement within our school reflects their developmental needs. Students will only move up to our Primary classrooms if they show emotional and developmental readiness for our Primary classroom’s curriculum and atmosphere. This is a group decision made by both the school and the family.
Primary Level curriculum (3-6 years Olds)
After School Enrichment and Programs
Our after school enrichment programs are specifically designed to target specific skills and introduce new ones beyond the scope of our regular curriculum.
The toddler years are a time of exploration and curiosity. It is when children use their bodies, senses, and emerging problem-solving skills to make sense of their world.
UMA’s Toddler classrooms are set up so that our young students have the freedom to explore and develop their sense of self and independence. We create an environment that both teaches and encourages autonomy.
Our loving teachers make our students feel safe and loved while they learn language skills, develop their physical and motor skills, refine their senses and perceptions, and deepen their emotional intelligence. They will participate in both group and individualized lessons along to prepare them for the routine of the Primary level.
We have a variety of schedules available to Toddlers. Refer to our application for further details.
